वर्ष 2011 में भारत में कर्मचारियों के वेतन में सबसे ज्यादा बढ़ोतरी हुई है। जो कंपनी जितना ज्यादा वेतन बढ़ा रही है, वह जॉब मार्केट में उतनी ही आक्रामक मानी जा रही है। क्योंकि वह न सिर्फ अपने कर्मचारियों को रोकने के लिए हर संभव कदम उठा रही है बल्कि ऊंचे वेतन देकर बेहतर प्रतिभाएं अपने यहां लाने को तत्पर है।  निजी क्षेत्र में वेतन पर नजर रखने वाली एचआर कंसलटेंट कपनियों के अनुसार वेतन तो भारत में बढ़े ही हैं, सबसे ज्यादा कर्मचारियों को तरक्की भी यहीं दी जा रही है। आर्थिक मंदी के बाद से पूरी दुनिया में भारत सबसे तेजी से विकास के रास्ते पर है। यूरोपीय देश और अमेरिका हमसे पीछे हैं ही। एशिया पेसेफिक में भी चीन, कोरिया और जापान जैसे सभी देशों को भी हमने वेतन बढ़ोतरी के मामले में पीछे छोड़ दिया है। औसतन 12.9 प्रतिशत बढ़ोतरी के साथ शीर्ष पर हैं हम। हमारे यहां वेतन वृद्धि अगले कुछ और वर्षों में दस प्रतिशत से ज्यादा दर से जारी रहेगी। जबकि बाकी देशों में औसत वेतनवृद्धि 10 प्रतिशत से कम होगी। यह देश में बढ़ रही खपत, इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर में ज्यादा निवेश, सेवा क्षेत्र में लगातार गति की वजह से है। मु...

An educational charity called today for a cross-party commission to examine the reasons why Britain has one of the worst rates of social mobility in the world. Sir Peter Lampl, chairman of the Sutton Trust, said while social mobility in the UK has stabilised in recent years it is still at a very low level compared to other European countries and the US, and that the chance of a good education was key to the problem. Children born in the UK in 1970 have less chance of escaping poverty than those born in 1958, according to the interim findings of research being carried out for the trust.
